Grannenfelt Finance is an independent capital raising advisory firm supporting ambitious startup and growth companies in securing funding for growth. Over the past ten years, we have helped technology-driven businesses raise more than €1 billion through equity, debt, and public funding from private and institutional investors worldwide.

Based in Helsinki, we work with clients across Finland, the Nordics, the Baltics, and beyond. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially driven Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in Sweden and Norway.

The Role

As Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships with startup and growth companies across Sweden and Norway.

This is a highly independent role for someone who enjoys consultative B2B sales, opening new doors, and building a strong sales pipeline. You will work closely with our experienced capital raising team in Helsinki while taking ownership of sales activities in your markets.

The position is based on-site in Helsinki, Finland. You should be able and willing to travel to Sweden and Norway as required for client meetings, networking opportunities, and industry events.

Your responsibilities include
  • Developing and executing our sales strategy in Sweden and Norway
  • Identifying and engaging startup and growth companies seeking funding
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline
  • Generating new business through calls, LinkedIn, email outreach, networking, and events
  • Booking and leading introductory meetings with potential clients
  • Working closely with our advisory team to qualify opportunities and support client onboarding
  • Representing Grannenfelt Finance at industry events and within the Nordic startup ecosystem
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and the drive to create new business opportunities.

You are likely a great fit if you:

  • Have experience in B2B sales, business development, or consultative sales
  • Speak native or professional-level Swedish or Norwegian, along with fluent English
  • Have an interest in startups, scaleups, innovation, and growth companies
  • Have good knowledge of the Swedish, Norwegian, or broader Nordic business landscape
  • Are able and willing to travel to Sweden and Norway as required
  • Work independently while staying structured, organised, and methodical
  • Have a proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven mindset
  • Are comfortable using modern sales, CRM, project management, and AI tools
  • Communicate confidently and build relationships naturally
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you can take ownership and make an impact

Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.

A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field is considered an advantage, but is not required.
