Grannenfelt Finance is a growth funding and corporate finance advisor for SME and growth companies. We advise companies on debt and equity opportunities as well as R&D and innovation grant opportunities (national and EU funding). We are the only advisor in the market that combines both private and public funding for our customers. We have raised over 500 MEUR of funding to our clients since 2016. Grannenfelt Finance is part of AIM Capital Group.

To strengthen our EU grant funding service, we are looking to recruit a proactive and entrepreneurially minded lead origination manager with full-time contract. The regions covered by the role include Finland, Sweden, and Estonia. Knowledge of or experience from working with EU and/or national research and innovation funding opportunities for start-ups, SMEs and corporates is highly valued.

In our role as an advisor, we consult companies throughout the grant application process in strategic partnership with Inspiralia Group. Inspiralia is Europe’s leading EU innovation grant consultant with 15 years of experience. They have won over 950 MEUR in grants to over 1000 European projects.

Regions: Finland, Sweden (and Estonia)

Your future responsibilities will include:

-        Originating suitable leads for EU funding, incl start-ups, SMEs, corporates, research organisations, associations etc.

-        Proactively maintaining a dialogue with industry networks in Finland and Sweden

-        Sharing market relevant funding opportunities in our network, through speaking at events, or in one-to-one consultations with companies

-        Maintaining a dialogue with leads on their funding suitability across industries (health, ICT, energy etc.)

Required competencies:

-        Proactive and entrepreneurially minded with

-        A strong interest in technologies and business models of the future (technological advancements, innovation activities, energy transition, circular economy, digitalisation etc.).

-        At least 3 years of relevant experience

-        Knowledge of EU and/or national research and innovation funding opportunities for start-ups, SMEs and corporates is highly valued

-        Technical or business background, incl health, tech, energy, etc.

-        Language requirement: Fluent English and Finnish. Swedish a strong advantage.

-        Experience from e.g., business incubation activities or innovation funding is a strong advantage

-        Additional experience or interest in corporate finance is an advantage but not a requirement

The role will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Expected starting date: Q1 2022.
